Trademark Types
There are 4 types of trademark/service mark :
Trademark
Normally the marks are filed as principal trademark unless specified.
Three-Dimensional Trademarks
Trademarks with three-dimensional shapes that have length, breadth, and height and enable relevant consumers to distinguish different sources of goods or services.
Color Trademarks
A trademark consisting of one or more colors and where the color in and of itself is distinctive enough to identify the source of the goods or services. Color trademarks do not include composite trademarks comprised of color(s) combined with word(s), design(s), and/or symbol(s).
Sound Trademarks
A sound trademark refers to a sound that is distinctive enough for relevant consumers to distinguish the source of the goods or services.
