With effect from 1 January 2017, the 2017 version of the eleventh edition of the Nice Classification, which is designated as NCL(11-2017), has been adopted for the purpose of classifying goods and services under the Trade Marks Ordinance. Due to the adoption of the 2017 version of the eleventh edition of Nice Classification, the chapters on “Classification” and “Cross search list” of the Trade Marks Registry Work Manual are updated.
